Cash donations are always welcomed.

New building items are accepted only if they fit into standard Habitat house design.

Used items can be donated to the Habitat HomeStore. Call (864) 298-0099 for more information.

When you make donations through Coalition affiliated churches (Click here for list) please make sure the donation is clearly noted for "Golden Strip Church Coalition."

Gifts in Kind

A gift-in-kind contribution is defined as any material, service or contract labor donated to Habitat for Humanity toward the construction and/or maintenance of one or more of its houses, administrative buildings or HomeStore. Gift-in-kind contributions are tax deductible and contributors receive a donation letter for tax purposes.

Some examples include:
Framing package, trusses, roofing, siding & boxing, exterior doors, exterior windows, insulation (wall & roof), drywall installation & finishing, interior doors & trim painting, cabinets, flooring - carpets & vinyl, electrical materials & labor, plumbing materials & labor, HVAC materials & labor, and landscaping

Other materials needed for home construction are provided by Habitat For Humanity.

How You Can Help

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. It takes all kinds of  talent to complete a home from professional installation of electric, drywall and plumbing, to the desire to paint walls, plant flowers or use a broom. Your help is appreciated!
